Over the past two weeks, I went on a bit of a networking sprint. Five events in just over ten days. (Yes, I needed a nap afterwards.)

It started because I needed to find new clients. I’ve been doing the same thing for a while, and honestly, it was time to shake things up a bit.

It's February. We're in the second half of Summer.

Here in Brisbane, the weather is heavy with humidity and you can see the lawn grow if you stand still long enough. I watch afternoon storms rolling from the west, and my yard is thick with the scent of frangipani.

Every year, I choose a word or phrase to guide me—something that captures where I am and where I want to go. In 2024, my word was Radiate, and it was as a reminder to show up, get visible, and share my energy and message with the world. This year I have chosen a phrase instead.  "Soft power. Strong presence." To me it reflects courage, connection, and balance—qualities I want to nurture in 2025.
